CHOOSE LIFE – LAND BASE YOUTH WORKER

FULL-TIME POSITION (2)

 

Ginoogaming First Nation is currently looking for a creative individual to fulfill a position with a focus culturally appropriate service to deliver to the youth.

Responsibilities:

  • To foster relationships and be engaged with the youth
  • Holding workshop on various topics, i.e.; suicide prevention, wellbeing and heritage
  • Providing Land based activities
  • Use of the Healing camp for workshops

Requirements:

  • Previous experience and enthusiasm to work with youth
  • Knowledge of various cultural and recreational activities
  • Ability to research to create additional activities and programming
  • Able to work evenings and weekends
  • A vehicle and license beneficial
